The US company Motorola is distributing Android 11 for the mid-range One Hyper mobile phone. The patch also contains the security patch for March. German users still have to be patient, the firmware is currently only available in Brazil and the USA.
The South Korean company Samsung is also distributing the May security patch to a number of cell phones. Smartphone users of the Galaxy S20 series in Germany and a Galaxy S21 in India can download and install the security update.
The News feed Google Discover is supposed to have a new design with Android 12 receive. The once colorful logo loses all color and should only be displayed in white or gray. Furthermore, this moves from the left to the middle of the screen. Nothing should change in terms of general functionality.
Google may soon release the first public beta of Android 12. The final version is expected in the fall.
