Modern Warfare 2 launch trailer sizzling with campaign footage

Infinity Ward and Activision debut Modern Warfare 2 A few moments before the game’s release trailer. It’s a livestream-style showcase, and the trailer just aired on Call of Duty’s YouTube channel.

Of course, we’re still a few weeks away from the game’s launch, so while it might seem odd to drop the trailer right now, more and more publishers have been doing it in recent years, mostly to increase pre-orders.

Love it or hate it, though, this new Modern Warfare 2 trailer is good. The focus here is entirely on the single player campaign. We got a ton of new footage showing gameplay and cutscenes for various missions.

the timing of the trailer small It makes more sense when you consider that players who pre-order Modern Warfare 2 will be able to play the campaign a week early, which is new for Call of Duty and will likely continue in the future.

Modern Warfare 2 releases on October 28 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s also launching on Steam for the first time in years.
