modern warfare 2 very big. Lots of. The release of Warzone 2 attracted over 25 million people, so early updates to the game attracted a lot of attention. Fortunately for Activision, Infinity Ward, and Raven, the first major update did something particularly impressive.
One of the top-level changes was the reintroduction of CDL modes (Call of Duty League, if you’re curious), which were removed after some bugs were discovered in the playlist.
While that’s great, there’s something even better for players who like to put some bling on their gear: a better navigation option for all locked and unlocked camos.
It might sound like a small thing, but when you’re spending most of your in-game time poking around hundreds of different camos trying to find something that looks decent on a Kastov 762, say, there’s the option to see what’s actually unlocked Putting it effortlessly on top of your favorite weapon is a godsend.
It’s not just me and my appreciation for a clean, readable UI, this is too; check out the MW2 reddit and you’ll see others jump in on the love too.
“Well, that’s actually a terrific change,” said one commentator. “I can finally figure out which camo looks best on a weapon instead of just picking the first one that looks kind of cool because I can’t stand scrolling through 100 locked camos.”
“Finally, oops,” said another. “Now give me a better UI so I can see more than six at once, and I can switch between different groups without skipping four of them at once.”
Well there is still some way to go. But it’s a good start. For the rest of the patch notes, check out the list below.
