Rimworld describes itself as a »story generator« and therefore attaches great importance to the stories it writes. And they like to go crazy. The builders are currently celebrating especially abstruse stories of the Royalty DLC on Reddit.

Massacre of monkeys with flu
The user tommagic23 received a task from an animal protection organization. They want him to be a group of 19 cold monkeys protected for five days. There is only one problem: the monkeys were involved in the death of a sheriff of the enemy Blue Plateau Confederatin, who now want to take revenge on their furry friends. When he picks up the monkeys, he is attacked by six archers and has to take them out.
"See how suicidal I am!"
While the story about the monkeys seems rather abstruse, introvertedlion was allowed to deal with a rather macabre task. The Empire of Perfection's Preator Pesere Loscasca asked the player to build a monumentthat keeps the suicidal tendencies of the noble for posterity forever.
Help, a squirrel!
A quest by deadinferno228 shows that the nobles in Rimworld have a hard time. The poor and troubled knight Kypos Aselacas from the Empire of God sent an urgent Notrof. Because during a peaceful speculation walk, he was suddenly attacked by an angry squirrel! A deadly threatthat he just didn't expect.
A goose special gladiatorial fight
The blue-flowered ones seem to have a lot of respect for animals anyway, as maxm1999 found. Because he had to entertain Duke Paskygalpro Loteos of the Empire of Eternity by fighting against one goose gone wild fighting for life and death. The finely-heeled gentleman, however, watched the spectacle from a safe distance with a drone.

Rimworld releases DLC with psycho powers, mech bases & nobility
Rimworld continues to evolve as players amuse themselves of such stories. In the meantime there are even indications of an official multiplayer mode. On the official website, the game developer posted a job posting for a multiplayer developer.
So far, Rimworld can only be played cooperatively with the help of mods. However, they do not yet work with the current version 1.1.
