New content is in the works Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak player.
Capcom announced that Free Title Update 4 will be released on February 7th and will bring new enemies as well as new Anomaly Research content, event missions and new paid DLC.
Velkhana, the elusive ancient dragon who debuted as the flagship monster of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, has been spotted by scouts from Elgado Outpost. The monster freezes the surrounding water in the air and can form icicles when fighting. It can even freeze a hunter to death.
The content also sees the arrival of Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax. The resurrected ancient dragon remains a mystery, so you and other hunters need to collect more data. Velkhana starts at 10 MR and Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax starts at 160 MR.
Any materials gathered during these excursions will be used to craft new weapons and armor with unique skills.
New Anomaly Research will be available, Afflicted Chaotic Gore Magala will be added to the A8 mission, and the Anomaly Investigation Cap will be raised to 220.
Beginning at difficulty level 111, Elder Dragons will begin appearing, and Event Quests will continue to arrive weekly, including two new Dual Threat missions, including Bazelgeth the Boiling and Gormagala the Chaos. There will be new Arena Quests featuring Furious Rajang and Scorned Magnamalo, and each Event Quest has its own unique rewards, so be sure to try them out.
The free Title Update 4 also brings a variety of new paid DLC, including tiered armor. You can purchase Minoto layered armor sets along with new gestures, poses, stickers, music and hunter sounds. You can also sign up to get early access to the free Palamute layered armor, which lets your furry friend wear the Elder Dragon Velkhana look.
Free Title Update 5 is coming in April, with more on the way.
