If you want to upgrade multiple teams or want to find Monster Hunter Stories 2 Elder Dragon Eggs, you must purchase expedition tickets. However, you also need to use them in any type of multiplayer missions, and this is the only way to include some post-release content after it has been added.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 Expedition tickets
When Monstie Expeditions are available, Expedition Tickets are approximately unlocked in Chapter 3 of Loloska. This is part of the main story, just like a psychic ritual, you don’t need to do anything special to make it happen.
After this, you will find Expedition Tickets at any Melynx Inc. location. With the exception of Felyne Shelter, every settlement has a Melynx. Melynx representatives are lurking in remote areas, but if you are struggling to find them, just return to Mahana Village and talk to the representatives there.
There are three types of Monster Hunter Stories 2 Expedition Tickets, and the cost is bottle caps.
- Adventure Ticket (N) – 10 caps
- Adventure Ticket (R) – 50 caps
- Adventure Ticket (SR) – 100 caps
Monstie Expeditions is a convenient way to experience new Monsties and collect items. Unlike other EXP farm methods (including Barrel Felyne), these methods do not require your participation except for selecting the expedition area.
Adventure tickets are also the only way to start a multiplayer game.
Monster Hunter Story 2 Multiplayer Game
Holding the expedition ticket, go to the mission board of any village to access multiplayer missions.
The Monster Hunter Stories 2 multiplayer game contains three mission types:
- Killing mission-defeat a specific target
- Trial task-defeat the target within the specified time
- Adventure-get as many eggs as possible
If you want a better chance in rare Monsties, Expeditions is the type of multiplayer mission for you. The use of rare expedition tickets and super rare expedition tickets increases the chances of finding rare lairs, which are essential for general rare monsters and the search for Monster Hunter Story 2 ancient dragons and other rare monsters.
Ancient dragons can only be found in advanced super rare lairs. They may spawn naturally after you explore or use prayer pots. However, when you use the Super Rare Adventure Ticket, your chances of finding them will increase further.
Please note that despite the different names, multiplayer missions can also be run in single player mode. The game just assigns you a combat partner controlled by AI.
