Monster Hunter Stories 2 is about to be released, and Capcom has outlined its game plan after the release.
Capcom promised last month to share more details about the content of Monster Hunter Stories 2 after its release, and it was delivered today.
One week after its release on July 15, Palamute of Monster Hunter Rise will join the game as a Monstie. Palamute will join you in the battle and will wear its Kamura Armor and pack Canyne Kamura Blade. You can also ride it outside of combat as in Monster Hunter Rise.
The second update will be released on August 5th, which witnessed the arrival of Kulve Taroth, the mother of gold. From Monster Hunter: World, Kulve Taroth will be the target of cooperative missions. You will not be able to train her as a Monstie, but if you defeat her, you will get some good equipment to solve your troubles.
The same update will include Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalo, anomalous monsters in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. These can be proposed as Monsties.
In September, there will be two more updates. In addition to the subspecies Oroshi Kirin, it will also include anomalous monsters Soulseer Mizutsune and Elderfrost Gammoth. The second update in September will increase the difficulty of the Kulve Taroth mission, and will also include the anomalous monster Dreadking Rathalos and the rare Molten Tigrex.
Finally, in October, Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian will join the game as Monsties. Another cooperative mission will be added, where you and your friends will be able to challenge the difficult monsters that will be announced soon.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be released on PC and Switch on July 9.
