As previously announced, Capcom has kept its word and has now released the third free content update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. This is now available for download on PS4 and Xbox One. What can you look forward to in the patch? Specifically, two powerful new variant monsters, numerous system updates and a seasonal event are part of the party.
The new monster variants are the Rajang variant covered with golden fur. When Angry Rajang gets angry, his fur glows and he uses his anger to become even stronger and more challenging. Added to this is his new Brachydios variant, covered with explosive mucus, which hunters have to be particularly careful of if it falls to the ground.
The update also lets you visually customize your weapons without changing their value. The first of these weapons are now available and you can customize the Boom with a specific basic design and monster parts. Additional weapons with unique designs will be added in April 2020.
The patch is rounded off by a new item, the Banishing Ball, a number of paid DLC options for your rooms, new NPC hairstyles and more. The update is to be made available to PC gamers from April 8, 2020.
