According to Anker, the new 14-in-1 docking station is the first of its kind with the new Thunderbolt 5 standard. This means that data can be transmitted with up to 80 gigabits per second – even 120 gigabits per second if necessary, for example for high -resolution displays. Thunderbolt 5 also offers charging power of up to 240 watts.

In the power station, a Thunderbolt 5 connection for the upstream-i.e. for the connection of data and electricity to the computer-and two Thunderbolt 5 connections for the downstream are integrated in order to connect further devices such as monitors or hard drives. The set-up is supplemented by four USB-A ports with up to 10 gigabits per second, an additional USB port with 5 gigabits per second, an HDMI output, an ethren connection, as well as a classic audio output.
All of these practical connections are in a compact aluminum housing that also looks quite chic on top of that. An LED ring on the upper edge ensures interactive lighting. The docking station fits seamlessly into a setup full of LEDs – perfect for gamers.

The anchor Prime Docking Station is now available for 419 dollars – either at Amazon or directly on the Anker-Website. At the start, however, you get a 14 percent discount: until May 3, you only pay 359 dollars.
