Sony announces six new games to be added to streaming game service in January PlayStation now, a mix of big-budget and indie releases, and overall a quality month.
Those games are Final Fantasy 12: Zodiac Age, Mortal Kombat 11, Super Time Force, Rampage Unleashed, Unturned, and Kerbal Space Program. These games provide a great way for gamers to spread the word.
This list covers the range of versions we usually see in miniatures. You have the big-budget spectacle in Final Fantasy 12 and Mortal Kombat 11, and the indie creativity of Super Time Force Ultra and Kerbal Space Program, not to mention Unturned and Fury Unleashed as potential hidden gems . Add to that the plethora of games already available for PlayStation Now, and you have a powerful cloud gaming service, although in a world that doesn’t have the internet infrastructure to take full advantage of, it’s still very much dependent on the cloud for its potential.
PlayStation is continuing to enhance its gaming offerings across its various services. PlayStation Plus subscribers also just got a new selection of games, with Deep Rock Galactic, Persona 5 Strikers and Dirt 5 joining the subscription service. It’s part of Sony’s plan to bring more games to more people. The company’s latest console is off to a good start, as the PS5 has sold over 13 million units, but it’s still hard to find.
Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, Mortal Kombat 11, Super Time Force Ultra, Fury Unleashed, Unturned, and the Kerbal Space Program are coming to PlayStation Now on January 4th.
