A serious bug is currently affecting the players of the Valorant Closed Beta: Due to the bug, Agent Cypher's Spycam can pick up and equip weapons. So it is actually intended for clarification Spy camera ability a deadly battle tower, the enemy can attack without the Cypher player having to venture out of cover.
It is explicitly a bug, not a feature. This is presumably caused by the fact that the game does not distinguish between the intended marking bullets of the Spycam and the deadly ammunition with an equipped pistol. Admittedly, the bug that players more or less affectionately call "camera turret" looks funny:
Under no circumstances should you exploit the exploit yourself! Developer Riot has previously announced that those who take advantage of such bugs will face fines. In the worst case, a permanent ban is given – the first cheaters were removed from Valorant last week.
Apparently it is new anti-cheat system Vanguard not yet able to keep all hackers out of Valorant – even though its kernel driver runs permanently on the PC with extensive permissions.

A fix is imminent
A first major update to Valorant is to be uploaded to the servers tonight, which will go offline temporarily for this purpose. Although there are no patch notes yet, such serious bugs and exploits will likely be eradicated afterwards.
Not all players are happy: some find that the mechanics are fundamentally exciting and should be part of the game. Maybe Riot is picking up on this idea for upcoming agents?

The exact duration of the current beta is still unknown. There are still beta keys around the clock via Twitch Drops. Riot's latest announcement on ranked matches seems to indicate at least a fairly long term.
