The rumors were already picking up speed, but now it’s official: The next Need for Speed will be presented this week!
Recently, the sparrows were already whistling from the rooftops: The latest game in the racing game series Need for Speed is to be presented soon – and now there is also a highly official date for it. So this week it will be ready.
Racing game fans and fans of the EA franchise should pull out their calendars and mark tomorrow, October 6th, in red. At 5:00 p.m. the publisher will then publish the first trailer for the new Need for Speed - and there should also be further details, information and maybe even a release date. Previous rumors also suggested that there could potentially be a playtest ahead of time as well.
If the latest leak is confirmed, EA will present the title under the name Need for Speed: Unbound. The trailer is also said to include anime elements and could potentially confirm December 2, 2022 as the release date; We’ll see tomorrow whether that’s true.
In previous years, there was a new Need for Speed year after year, but most recently the franchise took a three-year hiatus. As an appetizer, Need for Speed: Heat recently found its way into the PS Plus line-up for the month of September, allowing new players to get started with the game at no additional cost.
