Is the racing game franchise Need for Speed any further? EA gives the all -clear!
The last part of the series is known to be Need for Speed: Unbound, where the developer studio criterion worked. After the title came onto the market in 2022, Criterion was deducted to help the development of the new shooter of the Battlefield series. Is that why it goes on with Need for Speed?
In this regard, publisher Electronic Arts has now commented in the person of Vince Zampella. Opposite Eurogamer he had positive news for series fans, because Need for Speed is not explicitly at the end, although you have to wait longer for a fresh part.
“The Need-for-Speed team at Criterion helps your colleagues work to Battlefield. As a company, it was important for us last year to give the need-for-for-speed community and use your feedback to use content to create for unbounding, “said Zampella, rather when asked about the sequel.
“With a better understanding of what our games want in a need-for-speed experience, we intend to bring the franchise back in a new and interesting way,” it continues.
So while Need for Speed is far from being laid for the future, Criterion will still be busy with Battlefield until further notice. Of course we keep you up to date, should something also happen again on the NFS front.
