sea water churning around Netflix movie based on Bioshock Both the director and writer were named in public Twitter posts on the official Netflix account today.
While the project is still in its early stages – as you might expect, considering they’re only now announcing who will be playing a major role in the project – it does mark an important moment for the next big video game adaptation in mass digital media Milestone Corporation.
Looking at the characters, we have Francis Lawrence as a director. They have previously worked on notable blockbusters such as I Am Legend, The Hunger Games: On Fire, and two Mockingjay movies. But forget all that – this guy also worked on the Black Eyed Peas’ Pump It music video, as well as Gwen Stefani’s What You Waiting For and Jennifer Lopez’s Jenny from the Block. Venus.
It’s even better to see the writer Michael Green. They provided excellent written work for the American Gods TV show, Logan’s screenplay, and Blade Runner 2049 (as well as some pre-movie release shorts 2048 Nowhere to Run and 2036 Nexus Dawn). Seeing that movie was my all time favorite movie – I screamed when I saw it. That certainly bodes well for a Bioshock adaptation.
