It was to be an animated crime comedy, starring actresses Nicole Byer (Big team) and Lauren Lapkus (Orange is the new black). According to American media, it even had the potential to prove particularly promising. your name : Evil Crimes
Netflix: The ax falls again!
Now looking for a new distribution platform, the series Evil Crimes was therefore canceled in the middle of production. Intended for an adult audience, this dark comedy was supposed to tell us about the journey of two female FBI agents investigating macabre crimes while juggling between their friendships and their respective professional aspirations. This cancellation follows the departure of Mike Moon, Netflix’s head of adult animation, who has now been replaced by Billy Wee (former senior vice president of comedy and animation at HBO Max).
