Netflix has the right to a live-action adaptation of the 80s video game Dragon's Lair, and Ryan Reynolds is reportedly negotiating with them for production and starring.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, negotiations are underway to adapt a reality show Dragon's Lair It has been go ing on for more than a year.
The report states that Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds is in conversation with the film's starring actors and is producing the film through his company, Maximum Effort.
If you are too young to remember the 1983 arcade game, you can pay for the daring Dirk the Daring, who is looking to save Princess Daphne from the dragon and the wizard. It features film-style animation, and death is inevitable throughout the process. It eventually released on LaserDisc, PlayStation 1, NES, Sega CD, and other platforms.
LEGO Films Dan and Kevin Hageman will be responsible for the production of the script, while Roy Lee (Chapter 2) will work with Trevor Engelson (Snowfall) of the underground film Co-produced.
Don Bluth, creator of the game and director of "All Dogs Go to Heaven," will also co-produce with Gary Goldman and Jon Pomeroy.
