Prince of Persia The Lost Crown recently received its second major patch as promised by Ubisoft, finally adding a lot of free content that players have been eagerly awaiting.
With Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, Ubisoft has relaunched the popular license through the prism of the Metroidvania genre. The title still has a long roadmap, including a second major patch that was recently deployed. Here’s what it brings.
Free new features for Prince of Persia The Lost Crown
Two months ago, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown received its first major free update. Notably, two game modes have been added (including a much-requested one focused on speedrunning), nice bonuses and a host of fixes. Ubisoft had promised a roadmap for its successful game, which is illustrated with this second major free patch. Among the notable new features we have two modes focused on bosses.
The first is Boss Revenge, which lets you re-face the game’s bosses on various difficulty levels. The second is Boss Rush, which of course involves taking them on one at a time. Fast travel is also being expanded to make traveling around the gigantic Mount Qaf easier. Finally, Sargon is expanding his wardrobe with two outfits, including one heavily inspired by the Prince of Persia game released in 2008. A new patch obliges, several fixes are also included, most based on feedback from players. You can find the full notes on these below. However, the adventure is not over for Lost Crown. A new major update is expected this summer, adding new challenges through the Divine Trials as well as new amulets to equip.
