There are several new free rewards available and more coming very soon for The Sims 4. It’s a definite change from the usual.
The future of The Sims will never be the same. Maxis and EA have decided to move away from numbered episodes and offer a completely new ecosystem that is more in tune with the times. It’s hard to know what Project Rene, the next game that was previously thought to be The Sims 5, will really be, but new experiences will revolve around the fourth episode. After ten years of existence, The Sims 4 is not ready to say goodbye and is slowly turning into a service game to which multiplayer components will be added in the future. While part of the staff is working on these future new features and other DLCS, the other continues to monitor the game. Free content is now available in the game.
New free content for The Sims 4
If you weren’t alerted by the giant pop-up when you started the game, a new wave of Sims 4 events has been launched. This second season looks to be much more fleshed out than the previous one, and will clearly be more interactive. Rather than having you mindlessly log into the game to claim your weekly rewards, this event requires you to play and complete easily accessible quests each week. Each time you complete an objective, you’ll earn event points to spend in the relevant shop. Five new free items will be unlocked each week until the event ends on October 19. Here’s the full schedule for Sims 4 free rewards:
- Week 1 : Gramophone and death earrings
- For week 2 : Traditional Gothic Jeans and The Lost Book of the Green Lady.
- Week 3 : Traditional gothic buckle boots and the Grim Reaper’s retro bicycle.
- For week 4 : Life, Death and Portrait of Lady Mimsy Alcorn Shallot Tattoo
- Week 5 : traditional gothic shirt and the drink Spectral Cocktail.
- Week 6 : Coffin of peaceful rest and wandering gaze
Your journey will therefore begin by helping the Reaper research Ambrosia. As the weeks go by, you will continue to unravel its secrets until you finally learn how to prepare this deadly dish. To be able to participate in this event and receive these completely free rewards, all you have to do is log in to your EA account, start The Sims 4 and complete the objectives in Life Mode. You can access your quests at any time by clicking on the event icon and then go to the corresponding shop to redeem your points:
- Open the Events screen from the main menu by selecting the Event tab.
- Once the event screen opens, the available rewards will be displayed.
- Select “Redeem” to receive your rewards.
Once you get your hands on your free content, it will be available in Build Mode or Create a Sim. All rewards will then be marked with a Plumbob icon.
