Elden Ring wasn’t actually released until February 2022. Still could the next game from From Software
If you’re still stuck with the Elden Ring, there’s probably a good reason. After all, we are also quite impressed by the Soulslike of the Sekiro and Bloodborne makers and gave Elden Ring the second highest rating in GameStar history. You can find out why the open world works so well, for example, in the following plus analysis:

Next game almost done
three and a half gamewould work.
Exactly what games was Miyazaki referring to? We now know more:
- a well-known game: Ax: Shadows Die Twice
- a game not yet announced at the time: Elden Ring
- the other unannounced game: unknown
- half the game: the PS VR exclusive title Deracine
Miyazaki was asked about the current status of these games now, in June 2022. The head of the studio then announced that the rest of the game is still in active development and is in fact already in the final stages. That means fans of From Software might not have to wait too long for the studio’s next prank.

What awaits fans of From Software
Officially, it is not known what From Software is currently working on. However, a leak could have already anticipated the surprise for us at the beginning of 2022. As a result, the Elden Ring developer is currently developing a new part of the Armored Core series. So not only specific information about the gameplay leaked, but also a handful of screenshots.
Armored Core tends to be fairly fast-paced third-person shooters, with players piloting massive mechs into battle. However, game scenes shown from the alleged From Software project are intended to be reminiscent of the gameplay of Dark Souls and Co. All important information about the leak can be found in our corresponding article on the subject:

When could the mystery game come out?
This question cannot currently be answered. After all, From Software’s latest work hasn’t even been officially announced yet. In view of Miyazaki’s statement, it shouldn’t be too long in coming. When exactly the release will finally take place cannot be said at the moment.
Elden Ring itself was announced at E3 at E3 2019. The open world soulslike was originally scheduled for release in January 2022, but was then released on February 25, 2022 after a postponement. So fans had to do that
only wait two years after the reveal for the release of Elden Ring. If From Software’s latest project is already in the final stages of development, the wait could be even shorter.

What about DLCs for Elden Ring?
It has not been officially confirmed at this time that Elden Ring will receive new addons and expansions. Many fans at least hope so – and not without reason. Previous games Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne were given a decent package of post-launch content.
In addition, a financial report from Kadokawa indicates that its own parent company From Software is planning measures to continue to make Elden Ring attractive to players in the future. Since the demand is definitely there, it would be quite surprising if the developers didn’t meet it.
But here, too, Elden Ring players have to be patient. A release of new content would be conceivable, for example, by the release anniversary at the latest – i.e. early 2023 – if From Software does not take the coming Christmas business this year with it.
In the following video, we analyze why Elden Ring is so much more successful than previous Souls games and Souls likes from From Software:
