AMD released good business results for the first quarter of 2020 in many areas, announcing that new Zen 3 processors and graphics cards with RDNA2 architecture should appear as planned by the end of the year.
A tweet from the company says that the relevant products for publication in 2020 are "on track". AMD thus contradicts other rumors that have spoken of a shift to 2021.

Ryzen 4000 could still come later: However, the tweet does not reveal exactly which Zen 3 processors are meant. It could also be that server models from the Epyc series appear first and that the desktop CPUs of the Ryzen 4000 series will not follow until 2021.
In the case of the RDNA2 GPUs also mentioned, on the other hand, it is rather unlikely that AMD only refers to the models for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles expected in late 2020 and instead also means Nvidia's competitor »Big Navi«. The expectations of Big Navi are also high due to the latest leaks:

AMD with good quarterly figures thanks to Ryzen and Radeon
Looking back on the recent past, AMD's current business figures confirm a successful first quarter of 2020, thanks in particular to player hardware in the form of Ryzen CPUs and Radeon graphics cards.
As forecast, sales increased by 40 percent, to be precise, at $ 1.79 billion. At $ 162 million, AMD's net income was significantly better than in the first quarter of last year before the Ryzen 3000 CPUs ($ 16 million) were released.
While sales in the business environment (including server CPUs Epyc and consoles) fell by 21 percent compared to the previous year, the PC division around the Ryzen processors and Radeon GPUs recorded a proud increase of 73 percent.
However, AMD expects demand to decline in the future, even in the wake of the corona crisis. Despite new hardware, expectations for the entire year are somewhat more subdued than before.
