20.02-02.50.00 will be the fourth firmware update for PS5 since its launch in November.
PlayStation 5, which tried to install PS4 games after PS4 games have been upgraded, is not the only problem with Sony using games between generations. After the console was released, there were reports that people could not upgrade the PS4 version of Ubisoft games, such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or Watch Dogs Legion on PS5.
From its release on November 12 to the end of December 2020, the PS5 sold 4.5 million units. Sony has previously stated that this is the largest game console release in its history. By the end of March 2021, platform owners hope to transfer a total of 7.5 million units, which means that hardware sales will be faster than PS4.
