Besides Lost Ark, Amazon has another online RPG iron in the fire with New World. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’ll get a great opportunity this weekend.
New World started with a lot of hype, since then the interest in Amazon’s MMORPG has leveled off a bit, although it’s still there. Anyone who has avoided the game can watch it safely and in peace at the weekend.
Amazon has now announced a free game weekend; the starting shot was fired yesterday evening, so you can already immerse yourself in the open world of the title. The complete role-playing game can be played free of charge on Steam until April 11 at 7:00 p.m. German time.
During the time-limited event you can also test the latest updates directly for free. If you are convinced, you can get the standard and deluxe edition of the game now and until April 18 at 10:00 a.m. with a discount of 40 percent.
Free Weekend game progress will be saved; Participants will later be able to transfer their achievements in Aeternum directly to a full version.
Starting April 12th, spring will enter the game itself with the in-game event “Rabbit’s Revenge”. During the event, fight off a plague of corrupt rabbits and earn up to three Diamond Gypsum in loot drops and five luck-boosting consumables every day. There is also a rumor that the rabbits have acquired a mystical storage chest.
The major update Heart of Madness for the MMORPG New World can now be played. In the update, the current main story will be completed and players will face Isabella in the new Heart of Stormwind expedition. A new weapon, the blunderbuss, also makes its way into the game.
