Released in 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the best video games in history: a colossal, rich and intelligent adventure that put CD Projekt RED at the top. And like any good self-respecting open world, It’s full of secrets left and right that players have had fun uncovering over the years.
In the stack we can, for example, find a big reference to the killer rabbit from the Monty Python film Sacred Grail, the weeping angels from Doctor Who, the presence of a story by HP Lovecraft, a nod to Twilight or Game of Thrones and even Skyrim, with a reference to a certain “arrow in the knee”.

Many others are known… but also others that have yet to be revealed. This is what Pawel Sasko, one of the game directors at CD Projekt, announced during an interview with Flow Games.
There are things to discover, I can think of two/three examples that I’ve never seen before. You know, people keep discovering secrets there. This was the case when the game was released in the Complete Edition with the latest update (PS5 and Xbox Series, ed.) because people suddenly come back to the game.

By the way, it is impossible not to mention it the “FF:06:B5” affair, an extremely complicated Easter Egg that requires uncovering precise information and secrets in the various CD Projekt games
Recently, players managed to unlock a secret cutscene in Cyberpunk 2077 that they hoped would be the final secret of the FF:06:B5 case, before realizing it was obviously not the expected endpoint. So the treasure hunt continues. “What they’re saying makes sense. It’s not at all what I had planned with the teams that designed it, but it makes sense,” Sasko continues.
