Nintendo fans should mark tomorrow (Tuesday) in their calendars, because there are two broadcasts to watch. You can follow the next Switch presentations live online.
In recent weeks, speculation about new Direct conferences from Nintendo has picked up speed again – and once again they were right. Before the end of August, there are now two more broadcasts for Switch fans to watch – and all of this before the usual September Direct, which is also still to be expected. After all, June and September are usually fixed points in Nintendo’s Direct calendar.
But it starts tomorrow with the two streams mentioned. Nintendo will kick things off on August 27th at 4:00 p.m. German time. Then an Indie World will be broadcast, where you can find out plenty of details and information about upcoming and new indie titles for the Switch.
This will be followed by a partner showcase, where there will be all sorts of announcements from third-party partners for the Switch. In short: Fresh trailers and information on well-known first-party titles such as Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom or Metroid Prime 4 are not to be expected tomorrow – that will probably be on the agenda for September. And: The Nintendo Switch 2 will therefore not be a topic tomorrow either.
Incidentally, Nintendo made it clear again in another tweet after the announcement that the Switch 2 will not be discussed. There will be “no mention of the successor to the Nintendo Switch during any of these presentations.” You can follow the 40-minute double show as usual via Nintendo’s official channels on YouTube or Twitch.
