Nintendo has apparently received a new cooperation with Samsung around the Switch 2. Not only the production quantity should apparently be increased, a new OLED revision of the console is apparently conceivable.
The new Switch 2 will be released on June 5, 2025 and the interest is immense, which can be seen from the huge pre -order numbers that exceed the offer. According to the latest reports, Nintendo has now apparently had a cooperation with Samsung in order to create a remedy in this regard.
Like the renowned magazine Bloomberg reports, the new deal should ensure that Samsung Electronics helps to produce the most important chips for Switch 2. This move could therefore ensure that the Japanese will continue to raise the number of Switch 2 by March 2026, which could sell Nintendo more than the forecast 20 million units by then. Players might be able to get a copy of the Switch 2 more easily.
The deal could have a completely different effect than just a larger offer in the release year. Accordingly, Nintendo and Samsung should already have talks about an OLED revision of the Switch 2. As a reminder: the new console will first rely on an LCD panel, but such a revision with OLED screen had already received the first switch.
The Koreans of Samsung should therefore be a driving force that Nintendo is installing the company at the company's future refreshes. Such a model should then only be expected a few years after the original Switch 2 sales start.
