Nintendo Switch 2: This is how long the direct game presentations will take this week

Nintendo has confirmed the duration of the Switch 2 presentation – and announces game presentations for this week!

Tomorrow Wednesday the curtain will be revealed, because then Nintendo finally lets the cat out of the sack and will finally introduce the Nintendo Switch 2 in detail. All sorts of technical information about the new hardware, as well as the price, the release date, the pre-order start and games that will be part of the launch line-up are to be expected. But how long will the presentation actually take tomorrow? In this regard, specific details have been announced in advance.

It was already known that on April 2, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. German time, the transfer will start on YouTube. Nintendo has now confirmed that the Direct conference will take around an hour. For the concrete structure and the planned content of the presentation, you keep covered, so that it remains unclear to what extent games will also be seen tomorrow or whether you are stubbornly concentrated on the hardware.

A further announcement by the Japanese speaks for the fact that the new games for Switch 2 will not yet be in focus. In the further course of the week there are said to be gameplay presentations of upcoming switch-2 titles in a separate form. For two days, transmissions in Nintendo Treehouse format are planned: live.

Both on April 3 and on April 4, 2025 are scheduled for TreeHouse-Live streams; These start at 4:00 p.m. German time. It is then the first Treehouse Live broadcasts in two years, because the last time this format was in 2023 when the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom showed more detail.

The focus of the transmissions this week should be “hands-on gameplay” for upcoming Switch 2 titles. It is not yet known which games are presented in detail.
