Anyone who has subscribed to the higher-quality Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass can look forward to fresh supplies from the front of the N64 classics.
During today’s Direct conference, Nintendo again confirmed new N64 classics that will be released on the current Switch console via Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. The biggest title in this context is of course GoldenEye 007, which is celebrating a comeback and, as a new HD edition, is also making the leap to the Xbox consoles via Xbox Game Pass.
According to today’s announcement, Nintendo also wants to deliver Pilotwings 64, Mario Party and Mario Party 2 later in the year. In the coming year 2023, subscriptions to Mario Party 3, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Stadium 2, 1080° Snowboarding and Excitebike 64 are to follow.
Additional details on each release date are to follow in the future; Unfortunately, there weren’t any at the Direct.
The new classics will expand the already extensive game catalog around Mario Kart 64, F-Zero X, Mario Golf and Mario Tennis. In total there are more than 100 classics of the N64, NES and Super NES via Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Recently, Pokémon Puzzle League, Pokémon Snap and Wave Race 64 were added to the offer.
