Anyone who uses the online service Switch Online will once again get fresh gaming fodder in the form of classics in May. This time you can look forward to three titles from the Game Boy era, including Super Mario Land.
In May, Nintendo is again expanding the library of games available on Switch Online and is releasing three classics from earlier days, which can now be played on the Switch. In this case, there are three titles that were originally released for the Game Boy – as launch titles. Nintendo is also celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Game Boy, which was released in 1989.
Which titles are on board this month? Of course, first of all there is the classic Super Mario Land
Super Mario Land was once intended to be the biggest and most important title for the Game Boy, but ultimately didn’t come close to the immense success of Tetris.
Then there’s the Mario classic Alleyway and Baseball, so it also gets sporty on Switch Online. Baseball is a new edition of the NES game, whereas Alleyway can be described as a Breakout clone.
