It’s time to get your Switch out, because Nintendo An Indie World demo has been announced for later this week.
The Indie World showcase kicks off on November 9 at 5pm UK time, and promises “about 25 minutes of information on upcoming indie games coming to Nintendo Switch!” Of course, as always, there’s no specifics we can get from What kind of game to expect in the demo, no, apparently there won’t be any Smash Bros. reveal.
The most recent Indie World was launched in May, with the biggest highlight being Another Crab’s Treasure from developer Aggro Crab, along with a few other standouts like Ooblets and Cult of the Lamb, and a few others that looked Fun games like We Are OFK, and Gunbrella, a dark punk adventure game from Doinksoft and Devolver Digital
If you’re someone hoping to see Hollow Knight: Silk Song, that’s always a possibility, but keep in mind that even though it’s an indie game, it’s a big name right now, as it did on Xbox and June in June. Bethesda’s game showcase, so it’s likely to be in a full-sized Direct.
Other than that, who knows! The indie world is always full of surprises, so expect surprises and maybe make some time for the little ones if you can.
No word yet on the full Direct, but the previous one has a lot to show off (most of which are farming sims, but I digress). Pikmin 4 was officially announced as one, which was a surprise. Fire Emblem Engage was also announced, bringing back classic characters like Marth.
Nintendo also recently showed off the first trailer for the Super Mario Bros. movie, which definitely exists and definitely features the voice of Chris Pratt, which is sure to be “unlike anything you’ve heard” .
Tune in at 09/11 17:00 UK time for the new Indie World Showcase featuring approximately 25 minutes of information on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch!
