Smartphones repeatedly reach the end of their support – including those from Samsung. This means you will no longer receive updates. On the one hand, you miss out on innovations in the operating system and, on the other hand, you are more vulnerable to hacker attacks due to a lack of security updates.
The end of support for Samsung's popular Galaxy S20 series phones (Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra) will soon come to an end. They will no longer receive updates in 2025 – whether at the beginning or middle of the year is still unclear. Users of these models should therefore consider switching devices. And even after Black Friday, there are some cell phone offers where switching would be cheaper for you – and, above all, you have a long peace of mind before the next “support out”.
