March 10 update: Like Infinity Ward via Twitter announced, the XP bug in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has now been fixed. The developer thanks the fans for their patience. In the comments, they demand compensation for the lost experience points, for example in the form of free XP boosts for everyone. So far there is no information as to whether there will be such compensation.
