After the announcement of the Age of Mythology Retold remake it was quiet for a long time, now there is a life with an exclamation mark. You can see the development progress in the trailer above. The year 2024 is on the calendar for release.
Although the mythological Age offshoot does not have the large fan base of the original, it is one of the real-time strategy classics. For Markus Schwerdtel it even belongs on the throne. Age of Mythology was originally released in 2002. A remake with modern graphics and convenient functions is definitely worth it.

There have been a few Civ competitors in recent years, but they rarely reached the class of the original. The next contender, which is also driving forward many innovations, is called Millennia.
After we had terrible fears at first impression, Millennia got stronger with every minute played. As in Civilization, you can wage war, practice diplomacy and advance the economy.
A special feature of the game are the variable ages. Anything could happen: war against a rogue AI? Happens. Urban cyberpunk nightmare? Why not. An age of rebellion? Afterwards the map may look completely different. Millennia is scheduled to be released on March 26, 2024.
