Microsoft has announced how it will proceed since E3 2020 will not happen.
A moment ago, E3 organizer ESA officially announced that it would not hold E3 2020, confirming previous reports. Instead, ESA is exploring the possibility of online activities.
Microsoft is one of the few supporters of this year's show, and it has a grand plan for E3, calling it a "milestone year" for the Xbox. Following today's news, Xbox head Phil Spencer announced that Xbox will now host its own digital event.
Spencer did not disclose whether the above event would be held at the same time as its E3 press conference and promised more news in the coming weeks.
"E3 has always been a big moment for the Xbox team," Spencer wrote on Twitter. "Given this decision, this year we will celebrate the next generation of games with the Xbox community and all those who love to play games through the Xbox Digital Event. Details on timing and more in the coming weeks."

Microsoft recently confirmed some of the larger features that the Xbox Series X will introduce, including a high-level demonstration of the CPU and GPU architecture that powers each unit. We expect the next grand show to be held at E3, but these plans may have changed.
Until we find more information, we will provide all the information about the Xbox Series X and PS5.
