A Plague Tale: Innocence – Video: The medieval game succeeds where many others fail
When it comes to medieval games, many players probably think of sword fights and siege battles, of Kingdom Come and Medieval 2: Total War. Plague Tale, on the other hand, is dedicated to people who remain invisible or in the background in many such games and only appear as quest givers.
You play 14-year-old Amicia, who has to survive with her brother Hugo in France, which is plagued by rats. You can’t fight, you can only avoid the enemy soldiers or tactically shoot out lights with your slingshot. In the dark, the swarms of rats attack opponents.
Plague Tale is characterized above all by its exciting story, in the course of which the characters really grow on us. The atmospheric medieval world of the game is also impressively staged. By the way, Elena summarized why the story of Plague Tale is so great in her article:

Like Stardew Valley, only with cats.
This is how critics describe the cute role-playing game in which you discover an open world as a cat. Gamers like that, because Cattails has 96 percent positive reviews.
