The family of the new Ampere graphics cards from NVIDIA is apparently having another child, and that later this year. The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti appears in current leaks.
Anyone who thought that NVIDIA limited itself to the three new graphics cards RTX 3070, 3080 and 3090 was wrong. Latest leaks at VideoCardz
The RTX 3060 Ti would therefore be the smallest card from the new RTX family for the time being, but that does not mean that it is a pushover. According to the leaks, which apparently also included comparisons with other RTX cards, the performance of the RTX 3060 Ti will even be slightly above the much more expensive RTX 2080 Super of the previous generation. This would make the card ideal for 1080p and 1440p resolutions, but would also be able to display 4K with fewer graphics settings.
The price is apparently assumed to be a maximum of 400 US dollars. If the performance information is correct, the card would be a real bargain. For comparison: the RTX 2080 Super, which was apparently just surpassed, was available in stores for 7-800 euros. An official announcement should be imminent.
