Now you can connect PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S gamepads with Nvidia’s shield Streaming media box.
Nvidia wrote in a post on the hardware website that due to the new 8.2.2 software update, these controllers can be used to play games through its GeForce Now streaming service and the Android version.
In order to connect the DualSense gamepad of the PS5, you must press the PlayStation and Share buttons at the same time until the indicator light of the controller flashes blue. For the new Xbox gamepad, users only need to press the pairing button until the Xbox button flashes.
DualSense is a new controller for PlayStation 5 (launched in April 2020) and represents a major change from the previous DualShock 4. The hardware has exquisite tactile feedback and adaptive triggers. At the time of launch, we said that the gamepad was “puzzling”, but worried about the battery power used by all these beautiful features.
At the same time, the Xbox Series X/S controller is closer in function and aesthetics than its predecessor, this time around the direction of having a new D-pad and improved ergonomics.
