Bail Organa was already an important politician for his home planet of Alderaan by the time of “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones”. In “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith” he then helps Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) and Yoda (Frank Oz) and adopts young Leia.
By the time of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Bail should be deep in the rebellion and helping to bring down the Empire – he’s a key contact for Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars Rebels. He can also be seen in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”. Therefore we can assume that we will see Bail Organa again in “Andor”.
Unfortunately, things quickly go downhill after his rebellion is successfully built, because in “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” the planet Alderaan is destroyed by the Death Star in order to get Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) to reveal important information. Bail and Breha Organa die along with the planet.
The new episodes of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” appear weekly, every Wednesday at 9 a.m., in the Disney+ New Releases program. “Andor” awaits us at the end of August 2022. The year also brings other “Star Wars” releases!
