Oblivion Remastered version of Skyrim's basic unofficial patch mod arrives in Uber-Qualk

Inevitably, forgetting to remake will get some sort of patch mod made by a large fan, and it only took a week to fulfill this prediction. Enter the unofficial forgettable fix patch – Uorp for short – is now out, but you'll seem to be wondering about some quirks before grabbing it.

First, basic knowledge. UORP is a project designed as a remastered “Comprehensive Bug Fix Mode” with the goal of “finally fixing every bug that the “forgotten” fixes, and its DLC is not formally addressed by developers to create suites and the limitations of community development tools”. It was created by a small team led by Modder Arthmoor, and you might remember unofficial patches from Skyrim and Fallout 4.

They wrote that the initial version of the unofficial forget-fixing patch they just released contains “hundreds of scripts, tasks, NPCs, objects, projects, conversations, and other bug fixes” that were grouped together by the team of themselves, Quarn, Kivan and Princeshroob.

There are two separate iterations for the Forgotten Standard and Deluxe version, and have a 0.411.140.0 or later version that supports the game – meaning that if you run an older version, you need to update.

In response to a comment from Mod Arthmoor, this latest version of this version only deals with bugs and issues that exist in the original forgetting and has moved it to remake in response to the player to write to ask players if any new Remaster bugs have been dealt with: “We don’t know about these issues yet.

They added in another reply that the difference between OG forgetting and remake modifications is “why this initial version is limited to those known records and why it takes a long time to merge”, adding: “There are more things because we need to go back and check everything from Tamriel and Severde because these things are all attributed to these things because there are so many of these things, because the numbers left are not here again.

Another thing worth noting is that many players initially reported the informal patch itself, once installed, causing new problems for them, crashing into the desktop when entering the Dark Brotherhood Shelter, Vile Lair and Morvayn's Peacemaker. However, Arthmoor said the update this morning UK time (April 30) will address the issue, as well as a “three map markers that cause string problems on the map”.

Another bug has at least one player claiming to have had problems with the unofficial patch installed, which makes the argon tail protrude from the pelvic area rather than in its usual location, so we have to see if it can be fixed as well.

We have to see if this informal forgetting patch is its preferred bug fix mode, and if it also gets community patch projects from large teams like Starfield, which Arthmoor and Co are not joining.
