Odinfall, the new Viking-themed, futuristic roguelite shooter, is set to launch in early access on Steam on March 11. Developed by Ember Paw Games and published by Fireshine Games, this title blends fast-paced action with twin-stick shooter mechanics and procedurally generated levels. Players will face Odin’s army of robotic gods in a desperate attempt to prevent a second Ragnarok.

The game offers a selection of characters with unique abilities, ranging from a Cyberserker with immense strength to a Viking moose capable of trampling enemies with powerful charges. Each character has their own skill tree and can wield a diverse arsenal of customizable weapons. The environment will play a crucial role, as levels are fully destructible, allowing for multiple strategic approaches to combat.
According to Oscar Axelsson from Ember Paw Games, the studio aims to bring an intense new dose of action to the genre, drawing inspiration from titles like Nuclear Throne and Enter the Gungeon. Meanwhile, Rob Feather from Fireshine Games noted that Damp has already received positive feedback in early testing, and the team plans to expand it with updates and new content in the coming months.
The early access launch of Damp will allow players to experience the full game from the start, with future updates focusing on balancing gameplay and adding more challenges and game modes. It will be available on Steam starting March 11.
