There are two parts of the indie franchise OlliOlli so far, after the original mutated into a surprise success. Now the guys from Roll7 have announced a third part of the skateboard genre mix with OlliOlli World.
Roll7 and the Private Division of Take-Two today announced the continuation of the indie skateboard series, OlliOlli World, which is based on a mix of skateboarding, action and platformer. The digital release of the new title is planned for winter 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PC and Switch.
With the new part, the series wants to advance “into completely new dimensions”. You can skate through Radland, where a lively game world full of dazzling characters awaits you. There you make your way to Gnarvana to find the mystical skate gods.
Above all, the new part wants to score with its weird and unmistakable design style. You can customize the appearance, tricks and style of your character. The different levels can be explored and mastered using several possible solutions.
In terms of gameplay, the controls should prove to be extremely precise. Even newbies should find their way around in the extensive combo system. Pros of the series can master a multitude of moves and, thanks to the sandbox mode, explore millions of unique levels. And last but not least, you can compete against rivals around the globe in player leagues.
Together with the Private Division, Roll7 is once again expanding its successful OlliOlli brand.
