Elden Ring’s latest 1.04.1 update aims to “make things easier” for you when facing off against the boss Malenia. This new patch, available on consoles and PC, also fixes other bugs.
Were you sweating profusely in front of Elden Ring Boss Malenia? Kudos for your efforts, but actually there was an issue that was just fixed in the 1.04.1 update. Here are the changes to the game.
No more cheating for Malenia
What the Elden Ring gives you, it immediately takes away from you. In fact, in version 1.04, the player was stronger with even more powerful spells. Enough to get rid of the most recalcitrant bosses… except Malenia. And for a good reason.
In multiplayer, this boss could regenerate excessive health without even having to hit you. Suddenly it was even more complicated to beat, but it’s over.
Fixed an issue with Malenia, Sword of Miquella where her health would not regenerate properly in multiplayer.
So normally you will drool, but at least it will be on “equal terms,” so to speak. Elden Ring Patch 1.04.1 also fixes other previously broken items.
Elden Ring: The Benefits of Patch 1.04.1
Here are the other bugs fixed in Elden Ring new update :
- Fixed an issue that reduced the duration of the Cerulean Hidden Tear effect
- Fixed a bug that caused some bosses to die at unexpected times
- Fixed an issue where the Elden Beast boss feature was incorrect under certain circumstances
- Revision of certain texts
And so now Malenia will no longer be able to regenerate her health in a totally abusive way as part of online co-op play. Good news, right? Yes, we still have to manage to neutralize it.
Elden Ring is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
Did you fight Malenia? Did you beat him alone or in co-op? With or without the mistake regarding his life points? If you installed the update, did that solve the situation for you? Tell us everything in the comments.
