One Assassin’s Creed The streamer managed to pull off the impressive feat of beating all mainline games without taking any damage.
Video games are clearly a breeding ground for challenges, and in health games, managing not to get hit is certainly one of the bigger challenges. Now, streamer and YouTuber Hayete Bahadori has been able to do just that, with all 12 mainline Assassin’s Creed games (thanks to Kotaku).
Bahadori completes months-long challenge in April, uploads his second part Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Runs April 11. There’s a full playlist dedicated to this journey, which you can check out below, but you’ll want to set aside a lot of time. Since the entire playlist ran for over 80 hours.
Unsurprisingly, this is one of those “there’s an epidemic and I need to do something”, Bahadori says from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (The sequel was just announced recently). In an interview with Kotaku, Bahadori said he likes games that reward “stealth, subtlety, precision and various approaches to specific scenarios.”
Of course, there are certain restrictions. Obviously, each character cannot go below 100% health and runs from the first possible instance of damage.Reloads and restarts are also not allowed to gain game benefits, and each run is on the highest difficulty, at least from origin forward.
It was also a trouble-free run, and if Bahadori failed to meet one of his standards, he would start the entire run over. There are situations in the game where damage is forced, so obviously that doesn’t count.
Bahadori also had to do a few iterations to get every game to go well, because it’s not the kind of thing you can fall into blindfolded. And the anchor also has a daughter and an engineering job, so he takes a break from his regular broadcast schedule to prevent burnout so he can spend time with his daughter.
It’s such an impressive achievement that Bahadori is even currently planning a lossless run for God of War (which could be a June PlayStation Plus game). Clearly, the battle is not over.
