How much will the OnePlus 13 cost?
A price increase was already to be expected when it was launched in China. The basic version of the OnePlus 13 now costs CNY 500 more than the previous model. This corresponds to a price increase of around 65 dollars. Something similar could also be expected in Germany. As a comparison: The cheapest version of the OnePlus 12 came onto the market in this country for an introductory price of just under 950 dollars.
These innovations are to be expected
Below we will summarize what innovations the new OnePlus generation brings with it. It should be noted that the OnePlus 13 may not appear in this country with the same specifications as in China.

As already indicated in advance, the OnePlus 13 has received a new design. As you can see from the picture, the traditional hinge-style camera design has been replaced. The frame itself is now flat and brushed, in contrast to the polished, thin and slightly rounded frame of the OnePlus 12.
You can get a first impression of the OnePlus 13 in the following unboxing video:
The OnePlus 13 is available in two versions: with a glass back (black/white) and a faux leather back (blue). The cell phone measures 162 x 76.5 x 8.5 millimeters and weighs 213 grams, slightly heavier than its predecessor
processor
As expected, the new OnePlus generation relies on the new top processor Snapdragon 8 Elite from Qualcomm and is said to deliver up to 45 percent more performance.
Display
The 6.82-inch AMOLED display offers a 2K resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels as well as an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hertz and reaches a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is now also used. In addition, according to the manufacturer, the built-in “Crystal Shield Super Ceramic Glass” is said to be significantly more resistant to both falls and impacts.
Camera
The Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad was once again brought on board to develop the cameras. The OnePlus 13 retains the 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 primary sensor on the back that supports optical image stabilization (OIS). It is paired with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide-angle lens that has a 120-degree field of view.
The OnePlus 12 launched with a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto lens, but this has been replaced on the OnePlus 13 with a new 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 telephoto lens. This camera sensor has an f/2.6 aperture, OIS support and 3x optical zoom.
The telephoto camera has a 33 percent smaller sensor than its predecessor because it is 1/1.95 inch in size. The front camera has an f/2.6 aperture and a circle instead of a rectangle, which should enable better light capture.
memory
The OnePlus 13 is available in the following storage options:
- 12 Gigabyte RAM + 256 Gigabyte
- 12 Gigabyte RAM + 512 Gigabyte
- 16 Gigabyte RAM + 512 Gigabyte
- 24 Gigabyte RAM + 1 Terabyte
Battery
The OnePlus 13 boasts a generous 6,000 mAh battery that supports 100 watts of wired charging and 50 watts of wireless charging.
Further innovations
The OnePlus 13 supports Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1.
Furthermore, it has received IP68 and IP69 protection ratings for dust and water resistance. This is a significant improvement compared to its predecessor – the OnePlus Nord 12 only has protection class IP65.
