PocketPair is working on fresh content for the successful title Palworld and is now about to release the first raid. In this one you will have to deal with an evil Pal specimen.
Before Helldivers 2 was extremely popular, Palworld was the first hype title of the still relatively young gaming year 2024. PocketPair’s open-world survival game is still doing quite well, although the game – also because of Helldivers 2 – is no longer quite the same is in focus. But that is now changing somewhat, as the developers are now announcing the first major new content for the early access or game preview title: a first raid.
A powerful but evil new Pal will be wreaking havoc in the game world in the future – and you can take on him as part of the first raid. The raid is aimed at the most powerful Pal tamers in the title and is intended to represent a real challenge. Accordingly, you should already have some experience in Palworld to take on Bellanoir, who is the focus of the raid.

The corresponding social media announcement was accompanied by a first small teaser clip, which shows Bellanoir being summoned from a crystal. However: There is currently no specific release date for the first raid in the game, except that it should appear “soon”.
At the development studio you could already registerto first test upcoming new content for the game. It is quite possible that the raid will only be tried out with a small, selected group of users before it goes live in the general game version.
Earlier this year, PocketPair presented a comprehensive roadmap with all sorts of content planned for Palworld. After the raid, a lot more will await us in the survival title. Meanwhile, the development studio is anything but ruling out further implementations; A PS5 version of Palworld seems entirely conceivable.
