A first small teaser for the promised multiplayer arena in Palworld was recently published, but before that another larger content update will appear in the summer of this year.
PocketPair is gradually coming out with more concrete information about fresh content for the survival title Palworld. After the first short teaser for the multiplayer arena was recently published, information about a major content update followed this summer.
Accordingly, this big summer update will not include the multiplayer PvP arena, as the developers have now made clear via social media. On the occasion of the Triple-i Initiative Showcase, summer 2024 was initially rumored to be the release period for the arena, but it will actually not be released until later in the year.
Instead, there will be another major patch in the next few months. This summer update is intended to expand the successful title, which caused a huge stir, especially in January and February, with a completely new island as well as new pals, new buildings and new weapons. In addition, further content that has not yet been specified is planned.
In this respect, PocketPair is initially further expanding the previous co-op survival gameplay in the open game world, although there is likely to be some disappointment among PvP fans for the time being. Nevertheless: The PvP arena will also follow in 2024 – at least if everything goes according to plan by then.
Since the early access launch, the creators have only added a new pal to the game, so it’s time for important new game content – especially if you consider the comprehensive roadmap that was initially promised.
