Path of Exile 2 continues to pull its tracks in early access, sometimes more, sometimes less noticeable. But in a few days the number of players should shoot up again.
Grinding Gear Games puts on a higher gear again. Already on April 4, the first big content update 0.2.0 with the name Dawn of the Hunt should start to the Early Access of Path of Exile 2 and the fans are likely to be lurking on it.
Especially because the update with the hunter has a new class at the start. But the other classes are not neglected thanks to new skills and items. In addition, new endgame features come into play, including new maps, game mechanics, crafting options and so much more.
The hunter as a new class starts as a hybrid of nearby and ranged combat and is armed with a spear. In addition, the animals can tame against which they fight and they keep all their properties. The skills sound interesting, like a whirlwind, the opponent blinds around them and ends. Or tornados that you can rush on your opponents while taking elementary damage, for example by sending them through a fire. Elementary spears are also part of the repertoire. A sign with various defense and counter options ensures defense.
Both the hunter and the existing classes each receive a new sub -class with the update. The Huntress receives the subclasses ritualist (plague and animal sacrifices) and Amazon with a focus on the Speerer fight. The warrior gets Schmied from Kitava, which enables you to give your weapons additional damage and to generate an independently acting copy of your weapons next to you. The tactician is added to the mercenary with additional damage and crowd control options. The Witch gets the Lich focus on chaos magic, which strengthens you and your companions.
It continues with new skills and over 100 new jewels with which you can modify your skills. And there is also plenty of growth at the Unique items, here too there is talk of over 100.
