Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Announced to be Coming to Consoles Later in 2021
Upcoming RPG Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous has been announced by developer Owlcat Games and publisher Koch Media that it will be coming to consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One, as well as Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X via backwards compatibility later this year. Oleg Shpilchevskiy, Head of Owlcat announced that the Wrath of the Righteous will be “coming to consoles both digitally and in retail”. The game will be released under Kock Media’s newly launched label Prime Matter, which will be bringing the physical console copies to retailers worldwide.
Also this week the developer has released a new developer diary, which reveals the city of Drezen in further detail. The city is a key location in the early portion of the game, as players will be put in charge of sieging its central fortress by its Queen. This seems to be the biggest fortress the developer has built yet, and Drezen alone has over 70 cutscenes, but players probably won’t be seeing all of them in a single playthrough according to the devs. Another thing players will see in this game compared to Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a more verticality when the structure of the city and buildings, as the camera will rotate, providing more angles for viewing locations. The diary talks about raising the banner over the fortress which will be related to a number of plot twists later on.
(2/2) A new dev diary! Today we will talk about Drezen – a huge fortress that will play a very special role in the upcoming adventure. It took a great amount of time and effort to build, and it influenced a lot on the whole game development process.https://t.co/X75fz7aHDz
