Apparently the title is like ground and repentance The biggest reveal is Microsoft Game in progress change today, but a lot more was actually announced.
In fact, there are five more to be specific, and they are all classic games from Banjo Kazooie developer Rare, all of which are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. First up, there’s Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll, a game originally released on the NES and Sega Mega Drive in which you had to eat various creatures to gain enough weight to ring a bell and open the door to the next level (yeah ), a little weird, I know). Next up is RC Pro-Am, a racing game for the NES, arcade, and Mega Drive that lets you control a radio-controlled car, battle opponents around a track, and collect power-ups along the way.
Battletoad fans will also be delighted to see the arrival of the SNES game Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, a rhythm game in which you play as two toads, Rash and Pimple, on a journey to save the world. Fighting game fans will also be happy because the original Killer Instinct is also coming to Switch Online. Finally, there’s the N64 action classic Blast Corps, in which you control a variety of vehicles with the express purpose of destroying anything that stands in the way of a nuclear missile carrier, such as buildings and farms.
These aren’t actually the first Microsoft-owned games to hit Switch Online. Back in 2022, Banjo Kazooie joined the service, a worthy addition to the N64 classics, and last year’s arrival of GoldenEye, arguably alongside Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time A true N64 game. Of course, both “Grounded” and “Pentiment” are now coming to Switch, and other previously Xbox exclusive games (such as Hi-Fi Rush) are also expected to be available on Switch sometime this year.
