Was the touring app komoot also in hibernation for you? Then it’s time to wake her up again. Just in time for the beginning of spring and the slowly rising temperatures, you can secure a free regional package – at least if you are a Telekom customer.
The provider regularly entices customers with promotions or gifts in its “MeinMagenta” app. Cyclists and hikers will get their money’s worth until April 7th. The best thing: You can choose the region package worth 8.99 dollars. So you can decide for yourself which cards you want to unlock.
The packages are quite practical because they unlock functions. You can download the maps for offline use, get access to voice navigation, and tours can also be exported for GPS devices.
This is how you unlock your region
First you need the MeinMagenta app and you have to log in with your Telekom user data. Once that’s done, go to the “Moments” area and keep an eye out for the komoot promotion. Then proceed as follows:
- Click on “Secure your advantage” and copy your personal coupon code.
- Tap on “Advantage”.
- Log in with your komoot account or create a new, free account.
- Enter the coupon code and then click on “Redeem”.
- Now select your desired region package.
- Completes the order.
If you would like to unlock all maps within komoot, you can do this by purchasing the “World Package”. It costs a one-off price of 29.99 dollars, but is often on offer for 19.99 dollars. If you use komoot a lot and want to use it in a wide variety of regions, you should consider purchasing it. Offline use and turn-by-turn navigation are particularly practical.
