Persona 6 is officially in development (at least) on PS5, but it’s been dead quiet since then. Could we have a trailer or even information about the game next month during an event dedicated to the franchise?
Alors that Persona 5 Royal is arriving On PS5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch, fans think more about the future and have one word in their mouth: Persona 6. But when is the presentation coming? There will be disappointments!
An October announcement for Persona 6?
On October 8th and 9th, the Persona Super Live P-Sound Wish 2022 concert will take place – a good opportunity for local Japanese and foreigners to clean their ears with the franchise’s magical music.
But the Japanese publisher Atlus warns “Please note that there will be no new game announcements during this live event.”, he warns on the concert grounds. Translation: Forget Persona 6. So why were the fans expecting something new in the next installment? This performance was already the scene of important announcements. 2017 saw Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight, and Persona Q2 New Cinema Labyrinth. And 2019 P5R.
The developers of P6 know that they are expected at the turning point and are already putting a lot of pressure on themselves, but will take all the time to bring out an even better installment than the previous ones. P5R included. Changing the formula to cast a wide net is out of the question:
I try not to think about international sales. I think more that foreign players are looking for that Japanese spirit in our games. Although the main character of Persona 5 is a high school student, his entire day-to-day life is not necessarily relatable. But I think Atlus represents Japanese culture for them and that brings us closer together.

And if you want Persona 6 on Switch and Xbox Series, it’s up to you to make your voice heard.
